painting “pear orchard” (part 2)

I was captivated by the pear trees when they were in bloom this spring. My next oil painting is piece with a row of five pear trees in bloom. It’s not completed yet, but here it is in progress.

Painting “beach”

I love being at the beach! Here’s a painting of a palm tree on the beach, from my series called “VACATION.”

testing out “afternoon nap”

I recently painted my bedroom. So today I hung up a Brand-new oil painting I just finished to see how it looks. I’ll keep the painting hung up for a while to make sure it’s done. Then hopefully somebody will buy it for their house!

Painting “pear orchard”

The pear trees were covered with fluffy white blossoms for a couple of weeks. I just had to capture their beauty so I created a large painting with a row of pear trees. This artwork is called “pear orchard.”

Why I gave up graphic design (Milwaukee delivery #2)

I simply went to deliver a painting, but came away totally encouraged and uplifted by the patron who bought my little painting. Here’s some ramblings on why I gave up graphic design and love being an artists.

Painting “afternoon nap” (part 4)

Here’s some photos of the progress of my painting called “Afternoon Nap.” It’s inspired by some photos I took near San Francisco, specifically on Mt. Tam. It’s almost done, but not quite.

Painting “afternoon nap” (part 1)

I started a new painting. It’s called “afternoon nap.” When it’s done, I want you to feel like you’re laying down in the foreground taking a nap outside.

Painting “Mt. Tam” (Part 3)

I’ve been working on a landscape that is inspired by a photo I took of Mt. Tamapolis, just north of San Francisco. Here are some photos of my progress today.
