On Saturday I took five minutes of my time and invested those into weeks of enjoyment. All I did was follow the instructions on this Amaryllis flower bulb kit that I got from my mother-in-law for Christmas. It's been several years since I've had "forced" bulbs in pots in our home during the winter. What was wrong with me??? I should have never stopped doing this...it's totally worth the effort!! It literally took me five minutes to assemble, and from now until March I'll have something beautiful to look at in my kitchen every day. Right now it's only a tiny little stalk peeking out of the dirt, but the anticipation of what's to come makes it all the more enjoyable. I'll post another photo in a few weeks so you can see how my little flower is doing. Happy indoor-gardening!
