It appears we are moving.
I fell in love with a little house that is right across the street from my shop. And then Tim fell in love with it. And then Nathan… And now, it is just in the process of getting re-zoned so that we can actually live in it.
The landscaping is pretty overgrown. But the house comes with the most amazing bushes and trees. All they need is a little love (and more importantly, some professional pruning.)
It’s not a done deal yet, but if all goes as planned, we are selling our house and moving into town — just a block from the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
What sold ME on this home?
Item #1.) The thought of an unlimited supply of fresh Camellia blossoms for my home… all winter long.
Now I just need to find somebody who can bring these monster bushes back to their full potential of beauty. Which will THEN allow you to see the beauty of this house, which is currently being overshadowed by “too much of a good thing.”
Below is a slideshow of the yard as of yesterday. Maybe one day in the future, I’ll be able to post a “before and after” slideshow. And then, you’ll be able to see all that I see in this charming little house… and its amazing yard.
It’s got a lot of potential!!!!
Amazing! I’m sure you three will develop this into a creative haven. Best wishes. Hope to come up to see you soon with my t-shirt project.
I can see why you like this property. So natural. Answer to prayer beside:)
Thanks for the pep talk everyone! The zoning hearing is tonight, so hopefully it will get approved, and this can be my next greatest art project.
