POPPY (giclee print) • 36 inches x 18 inches • ©2007 Marie Scott

Summer’s Over so I’m back in my Beloved* Studio!

First order of business… shipping a BIG ORANGE POPPY giclee print. (This came after ordering the print from Milwaukee, ordering the stretcher bars, stretching the print, and then packing it all up for the UPS man.)

I hope my new collector from Charleston likes it!

*Beloved: A word that our 8-year old son has recently adopted into his vocabulary. Not sure where that came from, but it certainly adds an interesting flair of drama our conversations.

This print is 36 inches tall, by 18 inches wide, by 1.5 inches deep. JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL!

Here it is hanging up on my green wall to test it out. I think it's pretty striking! Maybe I need to order myself one of these. Hmm...

  1. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the poppy! I have some orange ones that I planted on the West side of the front of my house and am always so sad when they shrivel up after blooming. This looks amazing in your home! You are a master of colors–something I am definitely NOT. 🙂 I would love to come see you in Traveler’s Rest some day so you can show me your studio and your community. Have a great Labor Day weekend!

    • I would LOVE for you to come visit us in Travelers Rest! Can you believe it’s been 18 years since we were roommates? Back then I was so glad you were the master of paying all our bills! 🙂 (Which I’m sure you’re even better at now.) Happy Labor Day to you too!
