
Nathan’s handiwork. His entire collection of books moved and alphabetized, with no help from anyone.
“I REALLY want to put them in order, Mom.” said Nathan.
“What you do mean?” I replied.
“You know. Alphabetical Order. Like at the library.”
“Ohhh.” Are you sure you want to take the time to do that?”
His look of confusion and disbelief at the thought of doing it any other way took me by surprise. At that point, all I could think was “I love my life.”
Nathan is not quite ten yet, but has packed, moved, and unpacked his entire bedroom and playroom with very little assistance.
“I love my son.”
