We got married today! (August 21, 1993)

As we exited the church after the ceremony...

the sky was filled with balloons!

Exactly 17 years ago today, I was making the best decision of my life. I married my prince charming.

I fell in love with him because he was smart, funny, responsible, and kind.

I’ve stayed in love with him all these years, because he STILL all those things and more… thoughtful, giving, supportive, stable, ambitious, and wise.

And boy can he Run. He’s training for his first marathon this fall, so this morning he ran 14+ miles. How cool is that?!

Happy Anniversary, Tim! I would marry you AND do it all over again together in a heartbeat.

We’ve been married long enough now that our photos are kind of dorky-looking. I love that! 🙂

17 years later... we're a little older and wiser. And he's still my prince charming!

  1. Such a great day! I was so happy to be a part of it, as well as the years that have followed. I love that you two are still so in love, and it shows!

    • Thanks for all those songs you sang at our wedding so beautifully. And for NOT forgetting the words… we were just remembering a wedding we went to back in 1994 where Doug B. sang “I Will Be There” and FORGOT the words. You would never do that! 🙂
