
This actually IS a painting. I just took this photo on our recent trip--but the actual photo I painted from was taken back in 2007 when the corn was planted on the opposite side of the road. The painting is called COUNTY ROAD 32 and captures the feeling of this piece of Indiana much better than this particular photo does.
We spent a relaxing week in Indiana, visiting our family and friends in the beginning of August.
I love the summer in Northern Indiana. Nothing beats the views of lush, green fields accented by red barns. It’s Christmas for your eyes (without the snow!)

This barn was part of a QUILT GARDEN tour in LaGrange County, Indiana. The garden in the foreground is designed to look like a quilt block.
