Here’s a painting I created in February, called Hedge Apples. It was for a contest for Countybank. They were looking to purchase 12 paintings for the lobbies of two of their Greenville locations.

THIS particular piece wasn’t chosen, but I DID enter three of them…

This brave man (my wonderful husband) risked thorns and prickers to pick me the perfect Hedge Apples.

Here's a Hedge Apple hanging still hanging on the tree.

This perfectly arranged pile of Hedge Apples happened completely by chance, as we were just throwing things into the back of the cart.

I believe this is what you would call THE HEDGE.
